Solar powered toothbrush would make a great gift – JLeaf Molar!
If you have someone on your gift shopping list who likes the latest futuristic gadgets, the Soladey 3 toothbrush might be the right gift for them.
Soladey has come out with a toothbrush that works with a light source. Light hits a titanium rod inside the brush handle. It converts the light into ions which mix with saliva and remove plaque. The advertisements say that there is no need for toothpaste or water which makes it ideal for your car, purse or a camping trip.
The latest model is the Soladey 3. This model has the addition of aand semi-conductor device which enhances the breakdown of bacteria. It also looks futuristic in its design with a clear sleek handle and bright trendy colors.
The toothbrush head is replaceable and it is recommended the bristles be replaced every 3-4 months. If you are buying the brush as a gift, you may want to buy the replaceable heads at the same time.
The Japanese have sold over 5 million of these brushes each year. There have been some ads that say you don’t need to floss anymore with the use of this toothbrush, but I have some doubts about this claim. I haven’t seen any scientific studies written in a language I can read on this, that back this anti-flossing revolution started by Soladey. It looks like a great product, although I haven’t tried it yet.
A list of distributors world wide can be found at Soladey.com.
